# SKStacks v2

> SKStacks v2 is an AI-first sovereign infrastructure framework. A single declarative descriptor renders to Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, or RKE2 — deploying 31 best-of-breed sk* services across five layers (core, comms, compute, cloud, apps). 15 of 31 services are verified live-proven on RKE2.

SKStacks is the **deploy plane** of the SKWorld sovereign vertical. You declare your stack once; SKStacks (via skrender + the v2 harness) produces deployable artifacts for Swarm, K8s, or RKE2. Each `sk*` service wraps a best-of-breed open-source provider behind a stable descriptor seam, so providers can be swapped without changing application logic.

## The five layers (31 services)

- **core** (6): capauth, skca, sksec, sksso, skvault, skwaf — identity, PKI/mTLS, threat defense, SSO, secrets, WAF.
- **comms** (5): skbus (NATS JetStream), skchat (Tuwunel/Matrix), skcomms (multi-channel transport), sksignaling (Talk HPB), skvoice (LiveKit).
- **compute** (13): skbackup, skblock, skcache (Valkey), skdata (Postgres 17 + pgvector + pg_search + Apache AGE), skfile, skfiles (Nextcloud), skflow (Windmill), skmodel (Ollama/vLLM), skmon (Prometheus/Grafana/VictoriaLogs), skobject (Garage S3), skoffice (Collabora), skpulse (Gatus), skwhiteboard.
- **cloud** (6): skcicd, skdns, skdweb, skfence, skinfra, skmesh.
- **apps** (1): skturn.
